Corporate History
AutoMate was founded in 1994 via a management acquisition of the parent company, BaraTek. in 1990, BaraTek acquired, Denver based PC-Care and Document Management System Corporations, long recognized as leaders in the CAD and document management arena. In 1996, AutoMate joined forces with Mercury Products Corp., forming the Global Access Provider Network to develop and market specialized internet services via AutoMate's InterNet Services Division.

AutoMate's corporate offices provide administrative, technical and customer support services. Programming, systems analysts and sales specialists are virtualized off-site. Additional technical resources are strategically located throughout the United States and Canada.
